WebMar 2, 2024 · The Clearwater head is good part, but unnecessary when good used heads are available, or your local re-builder can refurbish a head locally sourced for you. IMO if you have to remove an 0331 head, even for just a head gasket, it should be replaced with the improved TUPY 0331 head.

Then drop it off at the machine shop, have them check for cracks, drill, tap, plug the water jackets, mill the head and do a valve job.
