Skyrim (Legendary Edition) is 32bit too, but the LAA switch was already flipped, therefore they cannot further increase the max amount of memory it can use. So, the medium the patch arrives in doesn't really matter as much. Anyways, as for the random crashes, it just sounds like one of those obscure compatibility errors between mods.
