This is the only reason I would consider CC being the actual culprit. It started happening around that time. But who knows with Bethesda games. WebOver the past 5-6 years Bethesda has increasingly introduced invasive money making techniques in their games, (this is a guess but somewhat educated) to hedge against thinning profit margins, the risk of titles not selling as well (not everything will sell like Skyrim), and let's face it microtransactions are profitable just look at GTA.
