WebbMean range determinations in the energy interval 70 to 210 kev are given, and a comparison with ranges measured by the electrolytic peeling method shows satisfactory agreement. A discussion of the figures of merit of the method is given. It is shown that ranges of Rn/sup 222/ ions of energies above 20 kev can be readily measured. (auth) Webb1 feb. 2010 · In this study, we contrast the O-D transformation efficiency of the light Ne ions used in these experiments, to the heavy (Kr) ions used previously, and interpret the differences in terms of enhanced damage efficiency for light ions (greater fraction of surviving defects per defect produced).

Webb1 jan. 2014 · This chapter introduces the basic equations for range and energy profiles. Several range concepts such as vector range, projected and lateral range, pathlength and chord length are introduced as well as relations between these quantities. Webb5 apr. 2024 · In this work, we obtain channeling ion ranges for tungsten, a prototypical heavy ion, by explicitly simulating ion trajectories with a method that takes into account … this product\u0027s folder
